A striking pair of vintage clip-on earrings from Gustave Sherman's celebrated Montreal costume jewelry house, founded in 1947 and prized by collectors for its exceptional quality and genuine Swarovski crystal. Each earring begins with a single faceted crystal drop suspended from an ornate silver-tone filigree bead cap, cascading into a multi-strand fringe of smaller faceted round beads in smoke and clear tones, finished with briolette-cut crystal drops at the ends. The chandelier-style movement catches light beautifully with every turn. Signed "Sherman" in script on the clip mechanism. A refined, collectible piece of Canadian jewelry history.
