A charming vintage figural brooch featuring a little gold-tone bird perched among hand-enameled leaves and flowers. Soft pink, green, and blue enamel detailing brings the botanical scene to life, accented with three faux pearl "berries," clear pavé rhinestones along the wing, a red rhinestone at the center of the flower, and a tiny blue rhinestone for the bird's eye.

The enamel work is in wonderful condition with lovely color retention throughout — a well-preserved example of the kind of detailed figural jewelry that was popular in mid-century costume design.
